Mid-summer Night's Dream

On June 25th, the very day after mid-summer day, The Friends of St. Andrews Park are promoting a performance of the very special ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

Perhaps you would display a Pantaloons poster in your window.

Performed by ‘The Pantaloons’, a touring theatre company renowned for their riotous and family friendly interpretations of the classics, this will certainly be a highlight of the summer. Members on the cast will perform under the trees between the playground and the Effingham Road gate where many enjoyable outdoor community events have been presented by The Friends including the now legendary ‘Music in the Park’ and more recently the anarchic ‘Theatre in the Park’.

This performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ is destined to be a memorable event - definitely a ‘not-to-be-missed’ experience!

Performance details at the time of writing are:-

Date: Sunday 25th June 2017

Time: Entrance from 18.00, performance starts at 19.00 and ends around 21.00.

Location: St. Andrews Park, under the big trees between the playground and the Effingham Road entrance.

Parking if essential: in surrounding streets.

Ticket prices: Adult £12.00, unwaged £10.00, 18s and under £6.00
Essential: bring a picnic and something to sit on.
