Event Description

The BCR NP is hosting this event on Saturday 19th September from 12.30 – 4.30 pm at the church of St Michael and All Angels, on Pigsty Hill, Gloucester Road BS7 8NT
The event will include an opportunity to apply for and vote for funding for projects in our area, for more details see below and further information on
There will also be skills exchange workshops, opportunities to meet our MP Thangam Debbonaire and to try your hand at the Community Speedwatch speed gun. You will be able to talk to the NP working groups about what they are doing to get improvements in our neighbourhood, and find out how you can join them, or bring your ideas for other projects which you think would make our area a better place to live. You will also be able to get your bike mended for free and enjoy fun activities for children and adults.

There are many ways we would like you to be involved as an individual or organisation involved in improving quality of life in the area:
Apply to our Little Grants for Big Ideas funding

  • You are invited!!! A chance to access up to £250 to fund your idea (deadline 15th September)
  • Download guidance and application form HERE for more details
  • Applicants would be expected to attend the Community Fair
  • Please pass on our flyer and invitation to interested parties. View the FLYER and INVITATION

Run a stall

  • Promote your organisation for free
  • Meet other similar organisations in the area, share ideas and expertise

Just come along

  • Promote your ideas to your members and contact lists (Event poster can be downloaded HERE)
  • Attend free skills workshops that could benefit your organisation
  • Meet like-minded people
  • Have fun!
