Event Description

Enjoy a special day out at Stoke Park - Bristol's newest park and historic estate.

Activities: Face painting, guided walks, nature trails, Cycling City roadshow, information stalls from local community groups and organisations, traditional country craft demonstrations, allotment advice, tree planting, live music and food are among the many activities on offer for the special celebration day.

An exhibition focusing on Stoke Park's impressive history, including information about the renowned, eighteenth
century landscaper, Thomas Wright (1711 - 1786) whose birth tercentenary is marked this year.

The stars of the day could well be a small herd of Dexter Cattle from Bury Hill Farm in Winterbourne.
