Social & Arts

The Social & Arts Group was established in 2007. The primary role of the group is to act as a catalyst for formal and informal events in the park. The group also supports and promotes other activities that other people may organise that fall within the terms of reference of FoSAP.

ParkArts09, organised and promoted by some members of the group, was held on July 5th 2009. It was a one-day arts festival held in the park involving visual artists and music performers. There was a range of stalls offering arts and crafts and activities for children and others selling refreshments. You can see photos on this website.

The next event is ParkArt, an exhibition in the Park of children’s work. It runs from 7th November until 5th December.
