This is a lovely site!

I added some seed cases from the Pink Campions and Ox eye daisies growing around the pond bank. Hopefully these will germinate and flower next summer.

BCC has a special mower for wikdflower meadows which Mickey books to do the job. So just one man and his mower.

"The arrangement is that we liaise with Mickey, our park keeper, when the meadow is to be mowed. We wait for the seeds to be produced, and either fall to the ground or be recycled via goldfinches etc, Then the mowings are left for a while before removal.…

When do they mow the meadow? I presume the teasels will be removed?

The goldfinches are going to love these later in the year.
