Walking through our park this morning, I saw a large dog - black curly hair - defecating on the grass. I looked around, but there was no-one - other than me - within 30 yards. So I watched the dog as…Continue

It is quite normal to see dog-walkers chatting as they stroll around the park: but please, please, keep an eye on your dog. Once again I have had to ask who a particular dog belongs to, when it has…Continue

in fact this last message is not from my son Sam, but from Sarah as you no doubt guessed
dont know how to amend!!!!!!!!!!aaagghh!!!!!!! Sarah
I have followed the Forum correspondence with growing concern. I’m sorry that you feel so upset in this matter and I regret that things have reached this stage. Georgia is no doubt appreciative of your advice and, judging by her last posting, recognised that there was little that could be done at this stage. It’s a shame that things could not have been left there. For sadly, once the discussion became personal, the Forum was no longer the appropriate place for it. Nothing will be gained either in Georgia’s interest or that of the Friends by further argument. If Des does not want to continue the correspondence, I’m afraid that is his prerogative.
It is not for me to take sides in this issue, so could I ask you please to consider the matter closed with respect to the Forum, even though I do understand that you still feel aggrieved.
John
Could you let me know the topic that you wish to expand on please.
Thanks,
John
Kind regards

My name is Emma Downing and I am one of the playground convenors for FoSap along with Anna King.
We are onto the council re the gate. THe plan is to make it swing 'up hill' only so that it is a little more difficult for the children to escape into the wider park area/cafe area. It was not part of the original contract, I understand, to sort this out as the money we received was for the improvement and installation of play equipment rather that enhancement ofthe boundary fence/gating.
Fear not though we have it on the radar. Please do let Anna or I know if there is anything else we can help you with re the play area.
Kind regards
Emma
