"Hi Phil,  Correct - I did mean #173.  I have added a copy of your photo to the Tree Blog in the European Pine section. Jo"

"Hi Jo, It would be #173 European Black Pine which I guess is what you meant, taken from the path just north of tree #183 on the plan, almost the same spot as for the previous photo. Phil"

"Hi Phil, have you seen, on the website, that there is a tab for trees. It contains a map of Trees In the park. I think this magnificent tree in your photo is #174, European or Black Pine. Have a look and see if you agree. Jo"

Hi Phil,

Welcome. Glad you could make the Bird Walk - I've seen the Mistle thrushes too - having them in the park is great.

Within the “Friends of St. Andrews Park” group, there are several special groups some of which may be of interest to you. If you would like to know more about one or more of these groups, go to the Groups tab on the home page. Most of the active groups are there.

We have just had the AGM (21.4.10). The minutes for that will appear soon.

The committee meets regularly, and the next time is Tuesday 18th May. Meetings are open to everyone, and you would be welcome to attend. Meetings start at 7.30 and are held in St Andrews Bowls Club on Derby Road. Details of all meetings are announced on this website under Events.
