Sounds like you might find the work and activities of the Wild life group to be of interest. You can find out more about the park trees if you click on the 'Trees' tab at the top of the website page. Also you may know already, but we have a regular Bird Walk looking for birds in the park. This runs on the third Sunday of the month during the spring, autumn and winter. We meet at the main Effingham Road entrance at !0 a.m and finish around 11 a.m. Photos of seasonal changes in the park and interesting wild life are regularly added to the 'Photos' section. e.g. photos have just been put on of mating frogs and toads that were present in the pond last week. Also photos of Waxwings which we spotted in the park on last Sunday's Bird walk.
Hi Wendy and welcome to the website. We are indeed lucky to have such a great park in the city. Next time you visit look out for our 10 new trees which TreeBristol, part of BCC have planted. There is a wildlife group, and you would be welcome to join; see the Groups tab at top of the page,
