Doggie Toy in Tree Story

My fun on the 20 April continued; after the Easter Egg Hunt, I come across a family trying to sort out a doggie’s blue soft toy problem.  Unfortunately, when blue soft toy was thrown for doggie to chase and catch; the soft toy got caught high up in tree- Whoops a daisy.  Family look up at it; what can they do? Easter Egg Hunt

After the lovely Bird Walk led by Des, my fun of taking photos continued as. During the bird walk around the park everyone had noticed little chocolate eggs on paths, by the hedge, up the sign posts, and on the park information board; very tempting but we were all very good and concentrated on the birds and not the eggs! Bird Walk led by Des 20 April

A lovely wander around the park looking at birds. Loved the chaffinch that had a fight with himself as he flapped again and again at a van mirror. I took pictures of a few birds, beautiful trees with leaves bursting out, and the decorated toilet and paths. Thank you Des. Sorry it looks like the van photos are showing more than the birds!

Bird walk 20 April

Well, with overcast skies and a chilly easterly it felt more like November than April but the birds obviously knew it was spring as we saw some signs of nesting. The list is as follows:



Mistle Thrush - 1 singing and another seen carrying food so there must be a nest nearby. We didn't find it but it'll be worth keeping an eye on.



Blackbird - several birds seen



Robin - 1 or 2 seen and…
