If birdwatching is all about the thrill of the unexpected, then this morning's walk certainly delivered. A fantastic view of a Peregrine cruising over Effingham Road then circling over the park will live long in the memory! Full list of birds seen as follows:

Blackbird - several including one collecting nesting material
Long-Tailed Tit
Blue Tit
Great Tit
Coal Tit
Dunnock
Robin
Mistle Thrush 2
Redwing c9
Magpie
Jay

Carrion Crow
Woodpigeon
Greenfinch - a pair seen well
Chaffinch - mainly heard singing
Goldfinch - heard briefly
Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 or 2 overhead
Herring Gull - several overhead
Starling
Wren
