Does anyone have any strong views on whether the park should have railings?
I understand that the original ones were dismantled to help the war effort and yes, there are theories
that they were all dumped in the sea as it was just a morale boosting exercise.
I am sure that it would cost an enormous amount of money to get new ones produced and installed, but what do people think?
Does anyone have any close up pictures of the old railings and gates from which we could see how it looked when it was first created and maybe to obtain some quotes which could then result in any such ideas being closed down due to costs or it may form the basis of a lottery/heritage bid...
