Ping Pong Table

Hello all! I would like to enquire about the ping pong table and whether there are plans in place to get it fixed? New ones cost around £600 which doesn't seem too expensive - I think perhaps it's something that could be crowd-funded by everyone who uses the table? I could help with this process if it would be useful.

Hi Becky,

Many thanks for posting about the ping pong table. We recently received this from our liason contact at BCC. Your idea for crowdfunding seems sensible - I will inform the play sub-group convenors of your idea.

The play subgroup is now talking directly to play manager. If the “top” for the tennis table can been found to replace the missing one, the parks team can help with installation.

Great, if we were successful in crowd-funding perhaps we might even be able to have 2!
