We recently had a report from a person who had been bitten by a tick. She thought it had happened when was sitting on the grass St. Andrew’s Park. It led to an infection for which she needed treatment. Having checked with the city council, this is, apparently, a very rare occurence in Bristol’s parks and open spaces.
