Alice, Gordon and Jo clearing some of the overgrowth. At this time of year we are particularly mindful of the many pond invertebrates both resident and visiting, such as the damselflies laying their eggs, caddis fly larvae, and many other small arthropods, while clearing enough for the central area to be visible for human visitors.
