Proof that Common Toads are also breeding in our pond - a string of eggs of toad spawn, March 17th '12

An egg string threaded around various pond plants. An egg string from a single female can be between 7 and 10 feet in length, and can be stretched considerably more. Between 3 and 4 thousand eggs will make up a single string.
